Well done to our very own Joe McCann JNR who purchased Dooncastle Trixie at our October foal sale last year. The vendor and breeder of the pony is Kieran Irwin of Westport Co Mayo. Dooncastle Trixie is a beautiful grey filly foal with great bloodlines from Class 1 Sire Bohola Mirah and Class 1 Mare Addrigoole Alina.
Joe has presented Trixie in Yearling Filly Classes at Maam Cross, Roundstone, Midlands Mullingar, Ballyconneely, Cashel and most recently the Yearling Filly class at the Connemara Pony Show in Clifden and has won at each show.
