Having photographic archives from previous pony sales makes for great record keeping showing how ponies progress over the years. The most recent examples of this were present on Saturday of the December Sale, the top priced lot, Lot 117 Ballinchalla Atlas, and the 3rd highest priced lot, Lot 114 Ballyard Echo.
Ballinchalla Atlas went through the Connemara Pony Sales Clifden in December of 2020, making €3,100, the highest price for a yearling on the day, this time he sold as a broken 4 year old for €10,500
Ballyard Echo last went through the sales ring in October of 2019 as a broken 4 year old topping the sale making €6,000, this time as an 8 year old making €9,100, the 3rd highest price on the day.
Great to see high quality ponies holding their prices over the years!
