Ahey bridge 36th (Fear Beag Bui x Meelickisland Roisn Lady)
Ahey Bridge 36th has recently been crowned the British DRESSAGE COMBINED TRAINING NATIONAL CHAMPION 2026 with trainer/event rider Anthony Clark of ATC Eventing in the UK. Axel has also competed and won placings/wins with his young, ambitious owner, Freya, encouraged by her mum, Sarah. He has had many achievements with Freya, including a remarkable 6th / 50 ponies in RC Champs 2025, and he achieved 2nd at Silver Leys British Dressage!
He was sold in February 2023 at the Connemara Pony Sales Clifden.
Axel was spotted and bought by the mother-daughter duo of Mary Davoren O’Regan and Olwyn O’Regan of Castle Ivers Horses in the fields of Fintan Cosgrove’s/ Knockmoy Stud as a rising 3yo. He was produced in the in-hand sections with many places showing in Ireland, and took part in the Clifden 3yo LJ before departing as broken /riding 4yo to the UK to unlock his potential!
